Marina

The 1975 anime of the Little Mermaid is my favorite version (and number two in my top three tear-jerkiest animated movie endings ever). I still have the VHS tape of this movie which I watched constantly when I was a kid, but have nothing to play it on (and I know there's a DVD available but apparently it's been cut/censored and I'd rather have the version I grew up with), and had been having an urge to watch this version again. So I watched it on YouTube and then wanted to draw Marina. Although I couldn't quite get her eyes right and I messed up on her pearl hairpin. I almost didn't draw the hairpin at all but she looked weird without it.
